Island Quay 10 is on the main quay in Salcombe. That means it's right on the water. You get a private pontoon and a mooring if you have a boat.
It sleeps eight. There are three bedrooms and five bathrooms, so a loo on almost every floor, which is handy with a full house.
The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and well-equipped, but it's not a flash show home. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the anchorage and the creeks. It's quiet for being so central.
You can walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants in under a minute. It's all level, no hills from here.
For facilities, it has the usual: a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, TV. Bedding is included and there's parking on site. Sorry, no pets.
Good places nearby: The National Trust's Overbecks garden is a short drive for a sub-tropical walk. For a longer coastal walk, the South West Coast Path is all around you. Kingsbridge is about seven miles if you want a change of scene.
