Island Quay 10 is a flat right on the quay in Salcombe. It's the ground floor of a building. You can walk straight out onto a private pontoon, which is handy if you've got a boat.
It sleeps eight, but that's in three bedrooms. There are five bathrooms, which seems like a lot, but it works if you've got a full group. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works. It's not modern minimalist, it's more traditional.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the estuary and the boats. The shops and restaurants are basically next door, but being on the ground floor at the water's edge means it still feels quiet.
It's accessible for wheelchairs and there's a stairlift for the internal steps if you need it. There's one parking space on site.
From there, you can walk everywhere in Salcombe. For wider trips, the South Devon National Landscape is all around, and the National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline nearby.
Facilities are all there: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
