Devon Court 2
This is Devon Court 2. It's on Devon Road in Salcombe, next to Courtney Park. The main thing about it is the view. You can see the harbour and the estuary from the living room and both bedrooms. There's a small balcony out there to sit on.
It's a first-floor flat. You go up some steps from the street to get in. It sleeps four. One bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other has two small single beds. There's one bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a separate utility space, which is handy.
The position is good. You're a few minutes' walk from Fore Street and the main part of town. You don't need the car once you're here. You get one parking space on the forecourt.
It's got a four-star rating. It's clean and comfortable, and everything works. The kitchen is a galley kitchen, so it's compact. It does have a dishwasher.
You can bring one dog. The floors are laminate in the main living area, so that's easy to clean. The bedrooms are carpeted.
For things to do, you're right there. Salcombe is mostly about the water. You can walk the coastal path in either direction. For a bigger beach, South Sands or North Sands are a walk or a short drive away. If you want to go further out, the National Trust's Overbeck's is about a 15-minute drive for different views and a garden. Dartmouth is roughly a 30-minute drive if you fancy a change.
