The Coach House is in South Allington, Devon. It's a converted barn, next to the main farmhouse. Nobody else is in it when you rent it. It's quiet here, and a bit off the beaten track, but you're not far from the coast.
It sleeps seven, but it's in two bedrooms. That means one room is quite big, with multiple beds. It's a 3 Star place. It's clean and comfortable, but don't expect high-end finishes. It's solid.
It's good for a bigger group because you can rent it along with two other cottages here, Coachman's Lodge and The Laurels. The three together take up to 25 people.
The place has got a garden and patio for you to use. The entrance and the ground floor are wheelchair accessible. There's parking right there.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. The WiFi usually works okay for emails and such.
You're about a fifteen minute drive from the sea at Sidmouth. For a longer stretch of sand, Exmouth is around half an hour. The East Devon portion of the South West Coast Path is on your doorstep for walking.
If you fancy a historic day out, Arlington Court is a nice National Trust property about 40 minutes north. Exeter is roughly 45 minutes away for shopping or the cathedral.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There's a field next door and some local lanes for walks. There's a place nearby that does horse riding if that's your thing.
