Waterfront is a cottage right on the sea front in Torcross. It's an old fisherman's cottage that's been done up.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which is for the quality of the finish. Everything is new and well thought out.
The main living space is open plan. There's a wood burner for colder evenings. The kitchen is all integrated with granite worktops. There's a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Upstairs, the main bedroom and one double look out over the water. The twin looks over the back garden. The main bedroom has its own shower room.
Outside, there's a front garden with seating that gets the morning sun. The back garden is enclosed.
You're basically on the sea wall. The beach is shingle. The South West Coast Path runs right past. You can walk north to Start Point or south to Salcombe. The South West Coast Path website is good for planning.
In the village there's a pub known for seafood, a cafe, and a shop. Stokeley Farm Shop and the South Hams Brewery are a short walk away.
For a bigger beach, Slapton Sands is the long shingle bank just along the road. Slapton Ley is the freshwater lagoon behind it. It's a nature reserve.
Dartmouth is about a 20 minute drive. Kingsbridge is similar. Salcombe is about 30 minutes. The bus stop for the 93 coastal service is outside.
Facilities include parking, WiFi, a cot and highchair. No pets.
