Otter Cottage
Otter Cottage is in Burlestone. It’s a detached house, sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and everything works, but it’s not a boutique hotel.
The kitchen and dining area are open plan with beams. The sitting room is a good size, there’s plenty of space to sit around. The bedrooms are mostly at the back, overlooking the courtyard.
It shares a big garden, about an acre and a half, with a few other cottages. There are duck ponds and chickens wandering about.
You’re about two miles from Slapton Sands for the beach. Slapton Ley is right there for walks. National Trust Slapton has information.
Kingsbridge is five miles away. Salcombe is about ten. Dartmouth is twelve miles. For a longer trip, Dartmoor or Plymouth are under an hour’s drive.
Facilities: Wifi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
