This is Oystercatcher. It's an apartment in Dartmouth, on Above Town. That's the steep bit up from the main waterfront. The walk down to the shops and restaurants takes a few minutes. The walk back up is a bit longer, because it's steep. You get used to it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-fitted and comfortable. Everything is in good order.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the river towards the castle and the sea. You get that view from the living room and the balcony. There's also a little split-level garden with a sun deck, so you can sit outside. It's a good spot for a drink in the evening.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's all there.
Dartmouth itself is right there. You can wander down for a pasty or a meal. For a longer walk, you can pick up the South West Coast Path. The steam train from Paignton to Kingswear is about a 20-minute drive away, and then you get the ferry across. Totnes and its castle are about a half-hour drive. Dartmoor is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes.
