Curlew 4 - The Cove
Curlew 4 is a flat in Brixham. It's part of a new block of apartments called The Cove. The building is right on the edge of a small, quiet cove.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and modern.
The main thing is the view. When you walk in, you see straight out to sea. The living room and kitchen are all one space, and the big doors open onto a private balcony. You can sit out there with a coffee. There's a small barbecue provided.
The stairs are steep.
You're on the coastal path as soon as you step outside. Turn left or right and you're walking. Brixham harbour is about a ten-minute walk. It's a proper working port. The fish market is there and there are plenty of places to get seafood.
Facilities are straightforward. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. You can park on site. There's also a shared swimming pool for the development, which is indoors. No pets allowed.
For days out, Paignton Zoo is about twenty minutes by car. The National Trust's Coleton Fishacre and Agatha Christie's Greenway are both within half an hour. Dartmouth is a similar drive.
