Rosehill
Rosehill is in Paignton. It’s a detached house. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms.
The place is a four star, so it’s comfortable. It’s deceptively big, which is useful for family holidays or if grandparents are with you. One bedroom has an en-suite and is on a different floor.
The living area is spacious. There’s an open fire. The conservatory is nice for sitting and looking out. The views over Torbay from the back are good.
There’s a patio garden with an artificial lawn and a raised deck. It gets the sun.
The beach is sandy and about 300 yards away. Local shops and a pub are about the same distance.
Goodrington Beach is the main one nearby. It has a promenade with some family entertainment. Quaywest Water Park is there too.
If you like steam trains, there’s a local line you can see running in summer. You can get a trip to Dartmouth from Paignton harbour.
Paignton Zoo is well known. Brixham is a proper fishing harbour and worth a visit. Torquay is next door for shops or the theatre.
Within about half an hour you can get to Dartmoor for walking or horse riding. Kent’s Cavern and Babbacombe Model Village are also in that range.
For a historical day out, Agatha Christie's house, Greenway, is on the other side of the river.
Facilities are straightforward: WiFi, TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. There’s a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring one dog.
