It's number 7 Vista Apartments in Paignton. It's one of a block, right up on the hill behind Goodrington Beach. The view is the big thing. You're looking south over the whole beach and out across the bay towards Brixham.
It's a ground floor flat. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've just had it all refurbished this year, so everything's fresh. It's open plan, living room and kitchen together. The patio doors go out onto a big wrap-around balcony. You've got a telescope out there to look at the boats, or the stars at night.
The sports pitches and the outdoor pool at Goodrington are literally a couple of minutes' walk downhill. Paignton seafront itself is about a fifteen minute walk along the coast path. The pier, the harbour, the usual stuff. The town centre is back from there.
Goodrington Sands is the main beach down the hill. Paignton Zoo is about a ten minute drive. The steam railway from Paignton to Dartmouth is worth a trip, it's a nice old train along the coast. Brixham is twenty minutes in the car, Torquay about the same.
For facilities: there's parking on site, WiFi, and it's all on one level so it's accessible if you need that. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're planning activities, the English Riviera website has good information, and the National Trust has some nice gardens and walks down towards Salcombe.
