Lapwing 1, The Cove
Lapwing 1 is in Brixham. It's a ground-floor apartment in a small development called The Cove. It's right on the waterfront.
It sleeps four, with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The rating is 4 Star, so it's a bit nicer than your average holiday let. Everything is on one level from the car park, so it's good for anyone who finds steps difficult.
The main room is open plan: kitchen, dining table, and sitting area. Sliding doors open onto a private patio that looks straight out over the water and Battery Park. You get the morning sun. There's a shared outdoor swimming pool open from May to October.
Fishcombe Cove is practically underneath you. It's a small, quiet beach. You can swim there, or paddle about. The proper harbour in Brixham is a short walk away. Plenty of places to eat, mostly seafood.
You're right on the South West Coast Path here, so walking is straightforward. Paignton Zoo is about a 20-minute drive. Dartmouth and Torquay are both within half an hour by car.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets.
