Bay View Abbey Sands
This is the Bay View apartment. It's in the Abbey Sands building right on the beachfront in Torquay. It has those views you see on postcards, straight out over Torbay.
It's a five star place, so it's very well finished. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, and each has its own bathroom. Both bedrooms and the living room open onto a long balcony. You can sit out there with your coffee and just watch the sea. It’s on the second floor, but there's a lift and level access from the car park, which is useful.
The building itself is right on the promenade. You cross the road and you're on the beach. There are a few restaurants and a pub right underneath in the building, about twenty yards from the front door. The town centre and the marina are a short walk away.
For things to do, you can pretty much leave the car. Living Coasts and the model village are a walk away. The train station is about fifteen minutes on foot if you fancy a day trip to Exeter or Plymouth. For a drive out, Dartmoor is about forty minutes. Dartmoor National Park is good for a proper walk. Paignton Zoo isn't far by car either.
It has a private parking space, fibre broadband, a washing machine, and air conditioning in the bedrooms. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
