Harbour View - Brixham
Harbour View is in Brixham, up on the hill overlooking the harbour.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. The place has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The garden at the back gets the sun for most of the day. There's private parking on site, which is a real help in Brixham.
You can walk down to the harbour in a few minutes. The coastal path starts from there. A ten-minute walk along it gets you to Shoalstone, which is the lido, the sea water swimming pool.
The town itself is good for fish and chips and seafood stalls. There are boat trips from the harbour if you want to go out on the water.
Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got Paignton Zoo, Torquay for the marina and beaches, and the steam railway at Kingswear. Dartmoor National Park is about a 40-minute drive if you fancy a change from the coast.
For facilities, the place has a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's WiFi. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry.
