The Coach House is in Torquay, on the Vane Hill estate. It's a big place, sleeps nine. Five bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. There's also a toilet downstairs by the front door.
It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable. There's off-road parking, which is useful here. The main thing is the location. It's about a five minute walk downhill to the harbour and the beach. Once you're down there, you've got all the restaurants and the Princess Theatre. The walk back up is, well, uphill. It's a hill.
Inside, the kitchen is a good size with a big table. There's an old range cooker in there, it works. The living room has plenty of sofas and a gas fire. Upstairs, the main bedroom has doors out to a small balcony. You get a view over the town from there.
Outside, there's a little paved area with a table and chairs. It's a spot for a coffee in the morning. The beach is close, and the local golf course is just down the road. If you want to fish, you can do that locally too.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and the bedding and towels are included. It says it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring two dogs.
For days out, you're right on the English Riviera. You can drive to Dartmoor in about forty minutes, or along the coast to places like Brixham. The South West Coast Path is nearby if you want a walk. Useful planning links are the National Trust Devon page and the English Riviera site.
