Blue Lobster
The Blue Lobster is a first-floor flat in Brixham. It’s a hundred yards from the harbour. You get some on-site parking, which is a real help down there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Both beds are king-size, but one can be made into two singles if you need it. It’s 4 Star, so it’s comfortable and well-fitted.
The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over the outer harbour and the sea. You’re up a floor, so you get a proper panorama. There’s a balcony off the living area so you can sit outside with it.
Inside, it’s open plan. Kitchen, living, dining all in one room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. It’s got everything you’d need to cook. The living space has a TV and seating.
Brixham itself is a proper working harbour. You’ll see the day boats going out and coming back. The fish market is right there. If you like seafood, you’re in the right place. Plenty of pubs and restaurants a short walk away.
The South West Coast Path runs right past. You can walk for miles in either direction. Good if you like that. The flat is on a hill, so the walk back up is steep.
If you want to explore, Torquay and Paignton are nearby. Dartmouth is about a half hour drive. For a big day out, Dartmoor is just over an hour away.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There’s WiFi. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets.
