Sea Salt Lodge
Sea Salt Lodge is in Torquay. It's on the hill where Waldon Castle used to be. You can walk down to the seafront and the harbour. If you look in the garden, you can still see a bit of the old castle wall.
It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The living room is upstairs. It's bright with patio doors that open onto a balcony. You get a good view over the town and out to sea from there.
Two of the bedrooms are downstairs. The main one has its own conservatory that leads out to a private bit of garden with a summer house. The other is a four-poster room. The twin room is upstairs next to the shower room. All the decoration is sea-themed.
There's a separate games room round the side with a small pool table, a dartboard, and a jukebox speaker you can connect to. The Wi-Fi is fast fibre if you need it.
The garden gets a lot of sun. It wraps around the house so you can follow the sun during the day. There's a big deck with a thatched shelter on it. It's a good spot to sit with a drink.
The promenade, Torre Abbey Sands, Living Coasts, and the harbour are all walking distance. For a bigger day out, Paignton Zoo is about ten minutes by car. Dartmouth is maybe half an hour. Dartmoor is about 40 minutes.
It has a dishwasher, parking, wi-fi. There's a cot and highchair if needed. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
