This is Bluebell. It's in Maidencombe which is on the coast, just north of Torquay itself. You're right on the coastal road. The beach and the local pub are about a 10-minute walk down the hill.
It's one of a few properties here, all separate. You've got your own front door and the whole place sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and they both have their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating so everything is there, it's comfortable and clean. The garden is shared, but it's big. About an acre. The sea views are really good.
Maidencombe Beach is small and sheltered. Oddicombe Beach is bigger and a bit further along. To get down there, you can walk down a lane but it gets steep. Most people use the Babbacombe Cliff Railway instead. It saves your legs. Torquay town centre is about two miles away for the shops.
There's a pub 600 yards away. It serves food. There's also a shop in the village.
The South West Coast Path runs right past. That's the main thing here. You can walk for miles. Torquay is close for the harbour and Living Coasts. Paignton Zoo is nearby. For a proper day trip, you're well placed for Dartmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth, all within roughly an hour.
For facilities: the Wi-Fi works, bedding and towels are included. There's a TV, a washing machine, and a cot if you need one. You can bring two dogs. There's a walk-in shower.
A couple of links if you're planning: National Trust Devon for local places, and South West Coast Path for walking maps.
