Apartment 6
This is Apartment 6 in Astor House, Torquay. It's a flat in a big old Victorian villa that's been split up. It’s not a detached cottage, you've got neighbours, but it's a solid building.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well looked after and comfortable. It's on the seafront, so you get a view of the sea from the windows. The building faces south, so it gets the sun.
You're right in Torquay. The beach is about five minutes walk. The town centre, harbour, and shops are about the same. There's a local shop 150 yards away, and a pub and restaurant are 350 yards down the road.
If you want to use a pool or a gym, your stay includes membership for the facilities at The Imperial Hotel, which is nearby.
For days out, you're in a good spot. Paignton Zoo is about a mile away. Kent's Cavern is in Torquay. Brixham is a short drive. You can get on the coast path easily.
Further afield, you can get to Totnes, Dartmouth, and Dartmoor in under half an hour. Exeter and Plymouth are within an hour.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a cot and highchair if you need them, and your bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
