Apartment 6 is on the second floor of Astor House. Astor House is a big old Victorian villa that's been split into flats. This one is up a few flights of stairs, so it's not suitable if you have trouble with stairs.
It's got two bedrooms and sleeps four. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. You get two well-behaved dogs, which is good for round here.
The main thing is the view. The living room faces south and you can see the sea from the big window. That's why you book it really.
You're right in Torquay. The town centre, the marina, and the beach are all about five minutes walk downhill. There's a shop 150 yards away and a pub about 350 yards.
If you're coming with kids, Paignton Zoo is very close, about a mile. The model village is a walk away. Kent's Cavern is up the road too. There's a golf course nearby, though I don't play.
For a day out, Brixham is a proper fishing port, about a 15 minute drive. Dartmouth is lovely, that's about half an hour. You can get onto Dartmoor in under 30 minutes if you want some moorland walking. Totnes is about 20 minutes away, it's an interesting old town.
In the flat you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site, which is a relief in summer.
