Dunlin 1 - The Cove
This is Dunlin 1, one of the flats at The Cove in Brixham. It's part of a new development right on the waterfront. You're up on the hillside looking out over the bay.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's new and it's been done to a good standard.
The main thing is the view. You've got a decent private balcony off the living area. It looks out over Battery Gardens and the sea. You can sit out there with a drink. The stairs up to the flat are external, just so you know.
You're about a five minute walk down to Fishcombe Cove, which is a small pebble beach. The proper South West Coast Path is right there too. Brixham harbour is about a 15-20 minute walk along the coast path. That's where the fish market and most of the pubs and restaurants are.
If you want to drive out, Paignton Zoo is about 20 minutes away. Torquay is maybe 15 minutes. For a longer day out, you can get to the edge of Dartmoor in about half an hour.
The facilities are what you'd expect for a new place. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. You get a parking space. There's also a shared indoor swimming pool on site you can use.
