Fishlegs

This is Fishlegs, in Brixham. It's a cottage on a hill, so you get harbour views. It's about a five minute walk down to the town centre and the harbour itself.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got the five star rating, which means it's been done up to a high standard. It's comfortable. There's a wood burner in the living room for cosy evenings.

A few things to know. The cottage is on three floors. The stairs are pretty steep and narrow in places, which is typical for these old places. The top bedroom is in the attic, so watch your head up there.

Outside, there's a small patio area at the front. It's a good spot to sit with a coffee and look at the harbour.

Brixham itself is busy. The harbour's always got something going on, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. For a swim, you've got a few beaches. Fishcombe Cove is a shingle beach about a fifteen minute walk away. For sandy beaches, you'll want to drive. Goodrington Sands is about ten minutes by car.

You're on the South West Coast Path here, so the walking is excellent. For a day out, Dartmoor is about a forty minute drive. Paignton and Torquay are just along the coast.

In terms of what's here: there's WiFi, the wood burner, the patio, and parking for one car on the roadside outside. It's a no pets property.
