Ocean Shangri La
This is Ocean Shangri La. It's a ground floor apartment in a big Victorian building called Bay Fort Mansions, right by Torquay Marina. The main thing about it is the balcony. It's a good size, about 20 metres long, and it faces the sea.
The view is the reason you'd book it. You look straight out over the harbour towards Paignton and Brixham. On a clear day you can see Dartmoor in the distance. People watch the Red Arrows and the fireworks from here.
It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. Two of the bedrooms and the living room open onto that balcony. There's plenty of furniture out there.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. It's ground floor and there's a wheelchair accessible entrance, which is worth knowing if you need that.
You're right on the seafront. There's a walk called the Royal Terrace Gardens that goes down to the harbour level. The local pub is a couple of minutes away.
