Apartment 2
This is Apartment 2 in Torquay. It's in a big Victorian house called Astor House that's been split into flats. It's on a hill, so you get a view of the sea from the front.
It's a one bedroom apartment but it sleeps four because the living room has a sofa bed. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. You're in a proper building, so you might hear neighbours sometimes, but it's generally quiet.
You're about five minutes' walk from the seafront and the harbour. There's a shop 150 yards away and a pub and restaurant about the same distance. The beaches are good, but they get busy in summer.
If you want a proper swim or a spa, your stay includes membership at the pool and leisure centre at The Imperial Hotel, which is nearby. That's a useful thing to have, especially if the weather's not great.
Paignton Zoo is about a mile away. You can drive to Totnes in under half an hour. It's an interesting old town with a castle. Dartmouth and Dartmoor are also within about 30 minutes if you want a day out. For a longer trip, the Dartmoor National Park authority site has good information.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher and washing machine, which is handy. WiFi and TV are included. Bedding and towels are provided. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
