This place is 8 Torwood Gables, in Torquay. It’s one of a row of houses converted from an old school building. The conversion is quite recent, so everything inside is new and tidy.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. You can bring one dog.
The location is quiet, but you can walk down into the town centre and the harbour in a few minutes. The marina is there if you want to stroll around. Living Coasts, that’s the coastal zoo, is about two minutes away on foot.
There are lots of restaurants and pubs on Torwood Street and around the harbour. There’s also a good one just around the corner on Parkhill Road.
You can walk to Torre Abbey Sands and Meadfoot beach. The South West Coast Path is right there too for walks. Torre Abbey, the old medieval one, is about five minutes away.
A short drive gets you to other things: Babbacombe Model Village, Kents Cavern, and Bygones. Dartmoor is also within half an hour if you want open space.
For facilities: it’s got parking on site, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburning stove. There’s a patio area with the garden. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There’s WiFi and satellite TV.
If you need more space, you can book the house next door as well for bigger groups.
