Platform One
Platform One is a ground floor flat next to Youngs Park in Goodrington, Paignton. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 star rating, so it's comfortable.
The main thing is the view. The living room windows look straight out over the Dartmouth Steam Railway line and the sea. You can sit with a coffee and watch the steam trains go by. It's a proper spectacle.
You've got your own enclosed patio out the back. It's a suntrap. There's a table and chairs.
Goodrington Beach is sandy and it's about a five minute walk. The park is right there. Paignton town centre is about fifteen minutes on foot.
If you like the railway, you can walk to Goodrington station in five minutes. The line runs along the coast to Kingswear. From there you can get a ferry over to Dartmouth.
The flat is all on one level. There's parking right outside.
You can bring one well behaved dog. There's a cot if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi.
For days out, Paignton Zoo is very close. Torquay is a short drive along the coast. For local walks and information, the English Riviera Geopark site is useful.
