Apartment 1A
This is Apartment 1A in Torquay. It's one of the flats in Astor House, which is a big old Victorian place that's been done up. It's a one bedroom flat, sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The good thing is the location. You're a five minute walk from the seafront and the harbour. There's a shop just down the road and a few pubs and restaurants about the same distance. The nearest beach is Meadfoot, which is about a ten minute walk.
The flat looks out over the garden and you get a glimpse of the sea from the front. It's south facing, so you get the sun. The building is shared with other holiday lets, but your flat is private.
Inside, it's all there. Washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site, which is handy. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
You get use of the leisure facilities at the Imperial Hotel, which is nearby. That means a pool and a gym if you want it.
For things to do, you're right in the middle of it. Kent's Cavern and the model village are in Torquay. Paignton Zoo is a short drive. You can get boat trips from the harbour. Brixham, Dartmouth, and Totnes are all within half an hour by car. Dartmoor is about forty minutes if you want some moorland walking.
