Copper Tree Cottage
Copper Tree Cottage is on the Maidencombe road, above the beach. It's one of seven holiday places here, all in the same grounds. It's a terraced cottage.
It sleeps four people. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, which means it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
Maidencombe Beach is about a ten minute walk down the hill. It's sheltered, there's a cafe, and you can climb on the rocks. The beach pub is about the same distance. For a bigger shop, you'll need to drive a couple of miles.
Torquay town centre is about four miles away. That's where you'll find most of the shops, the main beaches like Torre Abbey Sands, and the harbour. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here. The South West Coast Path runs right past, so you can walk into Torquay one way or towards Teignmouth the other.
Within half an hour you can get to places like Babbacombe Model Village, Paignton Zoo, or the town of Teignmouth. Dartmoor is about a 45 minute drive if you want a change from the coast.
The cottage has a patio area. There's parking for one car. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. There's a small shared play area for children on the site. Sorry, no pets.
