Orestone Garden Apartment
It's called Orestone Garden Apartment. It's near Teignmouth, on the road towards Labrador Bay. The main thing is the view. You look right out over Lyme Bay from the living room and bedroom. It's a first-floor apartment, sleeps two.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-finished. The shower is a good size, which is handy. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You get your own patio door that opens out onto a shared lawned garden. It's a sunny spot. The access to the apartment is via some external steps, so something to be aware of.
You're about a 15-minute walk from the beach at Teignmouth. The town has the usual seaside stuff, pubs, fish and chips, an art deco cinema. For a longer beach, the National Trust beach at Shaldon is five minutes in the car, the other side of the river.
If you want to go further, you can walk part of the South West Coast Path from the door. Exeter is about 25 minutes by car. Dartmoor is roughly 40 minutes. Totnes is about half an hour if you like that sort of thing.
Facilities: WiFi, parking on the gravel drive, cot and highchair available. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
