Foxglove is in Torquay. It's one of six holiday lets on the same site, up on the coast road above Maidencombe beach. The beach is about 600 yards down the hill.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The house was built as an extension to the main Victorian building, so it's modern inside. You have your own front door.
The best thing is the gardens. There's about an acre of shared garden to use, with proper views out to sea. It's a good spot to sit out.
There's a local pub about 600 yards away, the Thatched Tavern. It serves food. The nearest shop is about two miles away in St Marychurch.
For the beach, you've got Maidencombe down the hill. Oddicombe Beach is nearby too, but the lane down to it is very steep. You can take the Babbacombe Cliff Railway down instead, which is easier. It's a funicular that's been running since 1926.
Torquay harbour and town centre are about a five minute drive. Living Coasts is there if you like that sort of thing. Babbacombe Model Village is close by as well.
You're right on the South West Coast Path for walking. For a day out, Dartmoor, Exeter, Totnes and Dartmouth are all within about an hour's drive. There are National Trust places nearby, like Coleton Fishacre and Agatha Christie's old house at Greenway.
Facilities: there's a patio, TV, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. You can bring one dog.
