Apartment 14
This is Apartment 14 in Torquay. It's in a big old Victorian house called Astor House that's been split into flats. They've done it up nicely.
It's a two bedroom place but it sleeps six because the sofas in the living area fold out. There are two bathrooms which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and has what you need.
The building faces south so you get a view of the sea from here. You can walk down to the beach, the marina, and the town centre. It's about a ten minute walk. There's a shop and a pub a few minutes away.
You get free parking on site which is one less thing to worry about. The apartment has a washing machine, a dishwasher, and towels and bedding are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
As part of your stay, you get membership to the leisure club at the Imperial Hotel. It's nearby. That means you can use the swimming pool and gym there.
For days out, you're right on the English Riviera. Paignton Zoo is very close. Kent's Cavern and the model village are in Torquay itself. You can get boat trips from the harbour.
Further afield, Dartmoor is about half an hour's drive. Totnes and Dartmouth are within half an hour too. Exeter and Plymouth are under an hour if you want a bigger city or the history.
