Arthur's Den is a caravan on a holiday park in Brixham. It's got a three star rating, which means it's clean and has what you need, but it's not a fancy cottage. You're on a proper holiday park with other caravans around.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles that can be zipped together. One shower room. The living area is all open plan, with the kitchen and sofa in one space. There's a decked area out the front with a table and chairs.
The park itself has a heated outdoor pool, a games room, and a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant. There's also a laundrette on site. You get parking right outside.
Location is the main thing. You're up the hill from Brixham harbour, about a fifteen minute walk downhill to get to all the shops and pubs. Walking back up is a bit of a pull. It's very close to the South West Coast Path. You can walk to Fishcombe Cove and Churston Cove from here easily.
Brixham is a proper working fishing harbour. It's busy. Good fish and chips. For a bigger beach, Broadsands is about a five minute drive.
You can drive to Torquay in about twenty minutes. Dartmouth and Paignton are about the same. Dartmoor is about forty minutes away if you fancy a change from the coast.
Pets are allowed, up to two.
If you're planning walks, the South West Coast Path website is useful. For local attractions, The English Riviera site has information.
