Lapwing 4 - The Cove
Lapwing 4 is a flat on the first floor in a modern block called The Cove. It's got a 4 Star rating. It sleeps four people, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
You go up a small ramp to get to the front door. The main thing about the place is the balcony. It's full width, so you get a pretty good view out over the water. You can see the boats come and go. It's sheltered here, so you often see people kayaking or fishing.
Inside, it's done in a modern way. The doors open right up onto the balcony, so it feels quite open when the weather's nice. It's a clean, comfortable place to come back to.
It's in Brixham, just next to Battery Park. You can walk down into the town and harbour. It's a proper fishing port, so you can buy fish right off the boats. The South West Coast Path is right there if you want a walk. For a bigger beach, you've got Goodrington Sands about fifteen minutes drive away.
You're also close to a lot of other places. Paignton is just along the coast. You can get to Dartmouth in about half an hour for the castle and the boat trips. Totnes is about the same. If you fancy a day out on the moors, Dartmoor is less than an hour.
For facilities, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Wi-Fi works. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking for one car on site. The complex has a shared swimming pool you can use. Sorry, no pets.
