Apple Barn Cottage is in Brixham, near the top of Knick Knack Lane. It's detached. The conversion from the old barn means the layout is a bit different.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms. One is on the ground floor with twin beds. The other is upstairs with a kingsize bed. The bathroom is upstairs too. The stairs are open-tread and quite steep, so they're not ideal for unsteady guests.
You've got a small private patio out the back with a bit of grass. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
It's a five minute walk down the hill into the town centre and the harbour. Brixham's a proper fishing port. You can watch the boats come in and get good fish and chips. The shops and pubs are all within walking distance, so you often don't need the car.
If you do drive, Paignton and its beaches are about ten minutes away. Goodrington Sands has the water park. Torquay is about twenty minutes. For a quieter day, you can get the ferry from Kingswear over to Dartmouth. The National Trust's Greenway (Agatha Christie's house) is a short ferry trip from there.
For facilities: there's parking for one car on the driveway. It has WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two well-behaved dogs. They're welcome.
