This is Seagulls View in Brixham. It’s about a ten minute walk from the harbour, so you’re out of the main noise but still close enough to pop down for fish and chips. You get a view of the town and the sea from the upstairs living room.
It’s a three bedroom house sleeping five, with two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Most of the bedrooms are downstairs. One of the twin rooms can be zipped together to make a kingsize bed if you prefer. The double bedroom has doors that open straight out to the back garden.
Upstairs is all one open plan room with the kitchen, dining area, and a sofa. It’s where everyone ends up. There’s a family bathroom with a bath up there too.
There’s a single garage and a parking space in front of it. That’s a real plus around here as parking in Brixham can be tight.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you’ve got kids or a dog. Sorry, no pets allowed though. It’s got a patio with a table and chairs.
You’ve got all the usual things: wifi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them, and there’s a stairgate at the top.
It’s Brixham, so you’re here for the coast. The South West Coast Path runs through town. Berry Head is a good walk, about twenty minutes along the coast path from the harbour. It’s a National Nature Reserve.
Dartmouth is about a twenty minute drive. Paignton Zoo is about fifteen minutes away if you need a wet weather option. For a bigger day out, you can get to the edge of Dartmoor or into Plymouth in just under an hour.
