View Cottage
View Cottage is on Hillhead, just outside Churston. It's one of a row in a small gated development. You'll get a code for the gate, so it's private.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It was all refurbished a couple of years ago, so everything's fresh. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The layout is a bit different. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. One has big doors out to the garden. The main bathroom is down there too. All the living space is upstairs. The kitchen, dining area, and sofa are all open plan on the first floor. The views from up there are good, over the fields to the sea. The master bedroom with its own shower room is on the second floor.
There are spots to sit outside at the front and back. The back garden is enclosed.
You're a couple of miles from Broadsands beach. The ferry over to Dartmouth is very close, about five minutes in the car. Brixham is ten minutes one way, Paignton about fifteen the other.
For a day out, the National Trust houses are good. Coleton Fishacre and Greenway are both nearby. You can walk a fair bit of the coast path from here.
Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking for two cars. There's an electric car charger. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is level, so it's okay for wheelchairs to get in, but be aware the living space is upstairs. No pets.
