View Cottage
View Cottage is in Hillhead. It's part of a secure, gated development. You get a garage with it, which is handy if you've got a boat or just extra stuff.
The layout is a bit different. You come in through the back garden, which is enclosed. Two of the bedrooms and the main bathroom are on the ground floor. One of those bedrooms has big doors out to the garden.
The living area is all on the first floor. Kitchen, dining table, sofa. There's a big TV. It's a good space to sit, and it looks out over the fields at the front. The views are better the higher you go.
The main bedroom is on the top floor. It's a good size and has its own shower room.
You can sit outside at the back or at the front, where there's a bench. You catch the evening sun at the front. The sea view is from the upstairs windows.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two are kingsize, one is twin. It’s a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-finished. The access through the garden means the entrance is step-free.
You're about a mile from the coast at Goodrington. Dartmouth is very close, you can get the ferry from Kingswear. Brixham and the rest of Torbay are a short drive. For a day out, the National Trust places like Coleton Fishacre and Greenway are nearby.
It has what you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, parking. All bedding and towels are included. No pets.
