The Old Granary
The Old Granary is a semi-detached barn in Stoke Fleming. It’s in a quiet cul-de-sac so there’s no through traffic. You get parking for two cars.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating so it’s more comfortable than basic. Everything is clean and works. There’s a wood burner in the living room for cooler evenings. The stairs have a stairgate fitted at the top.
The kitchen is quite big, with a dining table. It’s well equipped and has a dishwasher. The washing machine is in a utility cupboard. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there’s a garden area with a table, chairs, a barbecue, and a couple of sun loungers. It’s enclosed.
Blackpool Sands beach is a three minute drive down the hill. It’s a popular beach with a café and lifeguards in season. You can walk to it from the village but it’s a steep hill back. Dartmouth is about a ten minute drive for shops, boats, and the castle.
The South West Coast Path runs right through the village. You can walk to Dartmouth one way or to Strete the other. It’s up and down, but the views are good. There’s local fishing and the golf course is just outside the village.
The property is listed as having a wheelchair accessible entrance. It’s level from the parking area to the front door.
You can bring up to two dogs.
