Rock House

Rock House is in Torquay. It's a terraced house up on the hill above the harbour. So you can walk down to the seafront and the shops, but it's a steep walk back up. The view from the back makes it worth it.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after. There's parking for one car on the drive.

The main thing is the terrace at the back. It's a good size, gets the sun, and looks right out over the harbour. You can sit out there with a coffee.

Inside, it's modern. It's been done up. There's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, wifi, all that. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.

Torquay itself is all there. Beaches, the harbour, restaurants. For a bigger day out, Dartmoor is about 40 minutes away. Totnes is a 20 minute drive if you like market towns. The National Trust has loads of coastal and historic places nearby.

If you need space for more people, you can sometimes book the apartment next door as well. That would make room for ten.
