Old Seaway Mews is in Torquay. It's a modern, upside down house. You come in on the ground floor into a big hallway with a washer dryer. It's a good space to dump coats and boots.
It's rated 4 Star. It sleeps four, but it does that with one proper bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area upstairs. So it's best for a couple, maybe with two kids. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room. There's a small private terrace off the bedroom, down some steps.
The living area is all open plan, kitchen, dining and sitting room together. It's bright. The kitchen has what you need.
The owner has a gym next door in a separate building. You can ask to use it.
It's quite good for dogs. There's an enclosed bit outside and the ground floor is tiled. You can take two pets.
For getting out, you're well placed. There are two pubs about half a mile away. A quiet beach is a fifteen minute walk. The proper South West Coast Path is under a mile away if you want a long walk.
Shaldon and Teignmouth are five minutes by car. Babbacombe and Torquay seafront are about ten minutes. You can get to Exeter, Brixham, or Dawlish in under half an hour. Dartmouth, Totnes, Dartmoor and Plymouth are all within an hour's drive.
In terms of stuff, it has WiFi, TV, parking, and all bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
If you're looking for day trip ideas, the National Trust and English Heritage sites around here are good.
