Orestone View is in Teignmouth, on the seafront road. It's a modern house, built about fifteen years ago. It sleeps eight, but it's got three bedrooms, so it's really set up for families or a couple of groups sharing. There are three bathrooms, which helps.
It's got a 5 Star rating from the tourist board. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's spotless when you arrive.
The main thing is the view. The living room and main bedroom look straight out to sea. You can see Torbay from the balcony. The balcony is private and it gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a shared lawned area out the front too, which is handy if you've brought a dog or kids.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. Leather sofas, a decent sized TV, and a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. Everything works. The WiFi is good.
There's parking on the drive for two cars, maybe three if you squeeze them in.
Teignmouth itself is just along the road. It's a ten minute walk to the pier and the main sandy beach. The town has the usual seafront things: fish and chips, a few pubs, some restaurants. The coastal path runs right past the house if you want to walk into Shaldon or further along the coast.
If you drive, you're close to a lot. Dawlish is five minutes away. Torquay is about twenty minutes. Exeter is half an hour. Dartmoor is about forty minutes, depending on which part you're heading to.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included.
