This is 3 Salle Cottage. It's in Tuckenhay, which is up a quiet creek off the River Dart. It's part of a converted paper mill.
The cottage sleeps seven in four bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's furnished comfortably, not like a show home. You can bring one dog.
Being on the mill site means you get to use the facilities. There are two indoor swimming pools and one outdoor pool. There's also a games room and a sauna. There's a kids' play area outside. The pub, the Maltsters Arms, is about half a mile away down the lane. It's a proper old riverside pub.
For the coast, Blackpool Sands is about a 20 minute drive. It's a good shingle beach. Bantham, which is better for surfing, is about half an hour. Dartmouth is 5 miles away for boats and the castle. Totnes, the market town, is 3 miles.
If you like walking, the South West Coast Path is accessible from lots of spots nearby. Dartmoor is about a 30 minute drive for proper moorland walks. The National Trust's Greenway, Agatha Christie's old house, is a short drive up the river.
In the cottage you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside.
