This is 2 Castle Cottage, Tuckenhay. It's one of a group of old mill buildings converted into holiday places. You're right on a creek off the River Dart. It's very quiet and green.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and well-equipped. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The cottage is on the ground floor. There's a small patio area out the front. You share the wider grounds and facilities with the other properties here. That includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a games room, and a sauna. There's a kids' play area too. Your own parking space is right outside.
Inside, you've got a living room with a TV, a kitchen with a washing machine, and the two bedrooms. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
There's a pub down by the water, about a ten-minute walk. It does food. The nearest proper shop is in Totnes, about three miles away.
You're well placed for getting out. Dartmouth is five miles. Totnes is three. The South West Coast Path is about a 20-minute drive. Blackpool Sands beach is also about 20 minutes by car. For surfing, Bantham is roughly half an hour.
