Tuckenhay, 1 Salle Cottage,
It’s called 1 Salle Cottage in Tuckenhay. Tuckenhay is a little spot on a creek off the River Dart. It's on a site called Tuckenhay Mill, where there are a few other cottages.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's more spacious and comfortable than basic.
The cottage is on a couple of levels. The main living area is upstairs. There are two balconies that face south, looking over the stream towards the mill building. The main bedroom and its shower room are downstairs, along with another sitting room that looks out toward the creek.
You've got your own little garden and a footbridge that leads over to the main Mill building. That's where the shared facilities are. There are two indoor swimming pools and one outdoor pool. There's also a games room and a sauna.
You can bring one dog. There's on-site parking, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair.
There's a pub with a restaurant you can walk to along the creek. For a shop, you'll need to drive to Totnes, which is about three miles away.
If you want to explore, Dartmouth is about five miles. The coast isn't far. Blackpool Sands is about a 20 minute drive. Bantham, for surfing, is about half an hour. Dartmoor is within reach for walking. Totnes and Dartmouth have all the usual town things.
