Wisteria House
Wisteria House is on our small farm, Higher Poulston, just outside Harbertonford. It's a big, modern house that sleeps up to twenty people.
It's got nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms, mostly in en-suites. The place is done to a high spec, so everything's in good order. It's a Five Star property, which means the finishes are good and it's well equipped.
The main living space is open plan and very large. Three sets of doors open out to the patio. The kitchen has two dishwashers and a big range cooker. The dining table seats everyone.
You share the leisure facilities with the other cottage here. There's a heated indoor swimming pool, squash and badminton courts, a games room with snooker and table tennis, and a tennis court outside. They're open all year.
The house sits in about six acres, so there's plenty of space for kids to run about. We're at the end of a quiet lane.
Harbertonford is a mile away. It has a small village shop, a post office, and a pub. Totnes is about three miles. It's good for independent shops and has a market on Fridays.
The coast at Slapton Sands or Blackpool Sands is about a twenty minute drive. Dartmouth is similar. Dartmoor National Park is about four miles inland. You can get to Torquay, Paignton, or Salcombe all within forty minutes.
Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, and plenty of parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide cots and highchairs. No pets, I'm afraid.
