Quays Cottage
Quays Cottage is in Salcombe, on the main street pretty much. It's terraced, so you've got neighbours each side, but it's quiet enough. You're about five minutes from the town centre and right by Victoria Quay.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been refurbished to a good, solid standard. Nothing weird or untested, just reliable. The stairs are a typical cottage stair, for what that's worth.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the main anchorage towards South Pool and East Portlemouth. You can see the boats and the beaches from the front windows. It's a proper distraction.
The facilities are all there: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi, and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
Being where it is, you can walk to everything in Salcombe. The shops, the cafés, the ferries over to East Portlemouth beach. For wider trips, the South West Coast Path is right there. Kingsbridge is about a ten minute drive inland.
