Upper Sheldon House

Upper Sheldon House is the top two floors of a big Victorian house in Salcombe town centre. It's on Buckley Street, but you get to it from Church Street. You can see the main anchorage and East Portlemouth from the windows.

It sleeps six, across three bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. The whole place has been done up recently. It's got a 4 Star Gold rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.

It's a few minutes' walk down to the waterfront. The house fronts onto Buckley Street, so you do get some town noise, but you've got your own parking space on site which is a big plus in Salcombe.

Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

The local area is what you come for. You can walk onto the coast path from here. The National Trust's Overbeck's is a short drive away, and you're right on the edge of the South Devon National Landscape.

Within about half an hour you can get to places like Kingsbridge, where you can get the estuary ferry, or out onto the south Hams beaches. Dartmouth is about 40 minutes by car.

No pets, I'm afraid.
