Oakridge
This is Oakridge. It's a terrace house in Salcombe, up on Coronation Road. If you walk downhill for about five minutes, you're in the middle of town, near the shops and the quay.
It sleeps seven, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's a good standard, comfortable but not over the top.
One of the main things is the parking. It has a garage, which is a big deal in Salcombe. The garden is at the back. It's a nice spot, looks out over the creeks: Shadycombe, Snapes, South Pool. There's a table and chairs out there and a barbecue.
The house is on three floors, so there are stairs. They're normal house stairs, but worth knowing.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. All bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
Salcombe itself is right there for sailing, swimming, or just pottering about. For walks, the South West Coast Path is on the doorstep. If you fancied a day out, the beaches at South Sands or North Sands are close. Dartmouth and the National Trust property at Greenway are about a 30 minute drive.
