Wigwam is a mews cottage in Salcombe on Union Street. It's not right on the water but you get a very good view of the estuary from the upstairs windows, out towards Smalls Cove and Mill Bay.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's a good feature if you're not all family. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and well kept, not a fancy show home.
The parking is integral, so one car right there in the building. That’s useful, parking can be hard in Salcombe.
You're a few minutes' walk from everything. The main town, the shops, the restaurants, and the quay are all right there. The Salcombe Yacht Club and the Salcombe Harbour Hotel are just down the hill.
The property has been marked as having coastal access. There are steps down to the water nearby. The facilities are straightforward: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are included.
The South West Coast Path runs right through Salcombe. You can walk out to Bolt Head one way or East Portlemouth the other. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here.
For planning days out, the National Trust Devon page is good. So is the South Devon National Landscape site for walks.
