Barn Owl
This is the Barn Owl, down in Ipplepen. It's part of a group of holiday barns on a farm called Newhouse Barton. There are other cottages here, but you've got your own space.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which covers things like the layout and the finish.
The main thing here is the on-site facilities. There's a heated indoor swimming pool, which is Roman-style, meaning it's a nice shape for a proper swim. There's a games room with a pool table, table tennis, and football. Outside, there's a play area for young children. The setting is traffic-free, which is good if you've got kids running about.
Inside, it's got underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. There's also an electric vehicle charger. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
Location wise, you're in the middle of the South Hams. Totnes is about ten minutes drive. Dartmoor is about twenty minutes. The coast is roughly half an hour, depending on which bit you head for. Places like Torquay, Salcombe, or Blackpool Sands are all within that range.
