Pebbles is in Lympstone, right in the middle of the village. It's a terraced cottage and it's old, built when it was a fisherman's house. You're about a hundred yards from the estuary.
It sleeps five people in three bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That's about right. It's comfortable and clean, but it's an old cottage so mind your head on the sloping ceilings in the small single room. That room has a little play area built in. The stairs are steep and they're the original ones.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs about fifty yards away. They're good. The estuary has a bit of sandy beach that's fine for kids to play on.
You can walk along the Exe from here. There's a cycle path that goes to Exmouth one way and to Topsham and Exeter the other. It's mostly flat. Exmouth beach is about three miles away for a proper swim. The South West Coast Path starts there.
Exeter is a twenty minute drive. Crealy Adventure Park is about ten minutes away if you've got children. Dartmoor is about forty minutes by car. For local walks, National Trust Devon has information on their places nearby.
The cottage has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and a TV. There's a small patio garden and a parking space. Bedding is included. No pets.
