The Stables
The Stables is next to our house, an old thatched farmhouse in Clyst Honiton. It's all on one level, which is useful.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom has its own shower, the other uses the main bathroom which has a bath. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfy, not luxury.
The main room is open plan, kitchen, dining, lounge. Doors lead out to a private courtyard. The kitchen has what you need. There are books, games, and a stack of old VHS tapes and DVDs if you fancy that.
Outside, there's a bigger lawned garden than you might expect from the front. There's a hard tennis court you can use. Rackets are in the summer house. There are a few different spots to sit, including one tucked away with a good view over the fields.
You can park two cars right outside. There's a washing machine available if you ask.
Location wise, you're about five miles from Exeter. The Park and Ride for the city is just down the road at Westpoint. The coast is about 20 minutes drive. The Jurassic Coast is easy to get to. For walking, the commons at Woodbury and Aylesbeare are close.
If you need a bigger day out, Dartmoor is roughly half an hour west. There are a few good gardens like Killerton and Bicton within a 30 minute drive. Several golf courses are nearby too.
The basics are included: bedding, towels, wifi, parking. No pets, sorry.
