Oversands

Oversands is a two-bed apartment in Torre. It's part of Ellington Court, which is a modern block just off the seafront. The main draw is the view. You get a pretty clear look at the sea across the road, especially from the living room.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. One bathroom is en-suite. It's rated 4 Star. I think that's about right. It's clean and well kept.

You can walk down to Torre Abbey Sands in a few minutes. That's the main beach there. The town centre and harbour are a decent walk or a very short drive.

The place has a patio area with seating. There's private parking inside the gated bit at the front, which is useful in Torquay. It has things like a washing machine and dishwasher. Wi-Fi works fine.

You can bring one dog. There's also a cot and highchair if you need them.

For things to do locally, the Torre Abbey estate is right there. You can drive out onto Dartmoor easily. It's about half an hour to places like Haytor. Coastal walks are obvious, either north towards Babbacombe or south to Paignton. The English Riviera website has a lot of practical information.
