The Horse Gin

The Horse Gin is in Lower Blagdon, Devon. It's part of an old model farm that we renovated last year. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The whole place is on one level. It’s open plan inside, with a high ceiling and a wood burner. There are steps down to it from the car park, and you walk along a path through some trees to get to the front door. It feels private.

You get a hot tub outside. There's also a warm shower out there to rinse off before and after. There’s a patio with a table and chairs, and the view is just over fields. It’s quiet.

The stairs to the bedrooms are cottage stairs, so they’re a bit steeper than in a modern house. Just so you know.

Totnes is a few miles away for shops and cafes. Paignton and the coast are about a ten minute drive. Dartmouth is maybe twenty minutes. For a day out, Dartmoor is forty minutes away. There are plenty of beaches and coast paths nearby. The National Trust has a lot of properties and gardens round here.

It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
